I’m excited to share with you this Wilson High School senior today! I’ve known Amber and her family for a few years now. I’ve had the pleasure of watching her grow into a beautiful young woman at our church, where her mom and I are both on staff. Amber’s strength and faith are evident from the moment you start to talk to her. She’s a young lady who’s been through a lot, including a hip replacement, but you’d never know it. She’s kind and genuine, and selflessly serves alongside her mom and brother in the preschool department every Sunday.
When Amber requested that I take her senior photos, I was so excited. I knew that her mom would have a ton of fun ideas up her sleeve, and she didn’t disappoint. We started out at Amber’s high school on the football field, which is one of the places she most loves to be. She manages the school’s football team while her brother, Maverick is on the field at Wilson. These two have such a deep bond as siblings, so it was fitting that the first photos we took during her session included Mave! We then headed to a nearby pine forest and meadow to shoot some more and chased some golden light as we had fun laughing and twirling our way through Amber’s senior portraits.
Amber, congrats on your senior year! Soak it up…it goes by so fast. You are a light to all those you meet and it was an honor to photograph this special season in your life! Good luck and go get ’em, girl!
