Han & Rondaya | Philadelphia Wedding
To say that Rondaya & Han were the perfect couple to wrap up our 2016 wedding season with is a bit of an understatement. From their Manayunk engagement session to their Philadelphia wedding, these two were a joy to work with and were nothing short of kind, funny, and were truly the type of couple that just makes you feel like family. You can check out some of Han & Rondaya’s Manayunk engagement session here (and their feature on Philly in Love here)!
From the moment we walked into Rondaya’s parents’ house, we were greeted by family and friends and I think were offered breakfast about 10 times in the first five minutes. It was like we stepped right into one big, loving family, and it was awesome! The bride and her gals got ready and then we headed to Historic Rittenhousetown, where her groom was waiting for her! These two had an adorable first look before the rest of their bridal party arrived, and we took a few photos in the beautiful park and then hopped in a limo to head to the ceremony, and then eventually on to their South Philadelphia wedding reception where there was some serious dancing going on!
What I loved most about Han & Rondaya’s wedding was not only how much you could feel their love for one another, but also feel their love for Jesus. These two really are building a foundation on their faith, and we think that is awesome!
I had asked Han & Rondaya to share with me a little bit about what they were looking forward to on their wedding day, and their answers are darling!
Han:
On what he loves about his new wife: She’s the least judgmental person that I know and she’s genuinely a kind person.
On what he was looking forward to about his wedding day: Being married! 🙂
On what he was looking forward to about married life: It’s hard to choose, but I would have to say going on vacations together, s’mores nights with her, and watching the Walking Dead marathons together.
Rondaya:
On what she loves about her new husband: I love that he has a big, kind heart and a quirky sense of humor.
On what she was looking forward to about her wedding day: Getting the opportunity to marry my best friend.
On what she was looking forward to about married life: I am looking forward to traveling together, no longer having to say goodbye/have a 1hr difference between us, and just being able to encourage him in what God has planned for His life.
We can totally relate to looking forward to no long having distance between us…AJ lived in Boston up until two weeks before our wedding! We are so happy for Rondaya & Han and wish them all the best as they journey into married life together!
