Hannah & David | Grim’s Orchard Proposal & Engagement
A few weeks ago, I got a message from Hannah’s mom, a family friend, asking if I would be available on October 13th and able to keep a secret. I quickly said yes to both, and turns out, she was reaching out to ask us to shoot David’s proposal to Hannah at Grim’s Orchard! I was so excited to get to be a part of this special day for these two awesome people! David had this proposal planned down to every little detail with the help of Hannah’s mom…Plan “A” was to have it in the orchard, but when the weather forecast for the day looked gloomy, plans to move inside to a barn were quickly created.
People from Hannah’s life were invited to share in this special occasion, lining her path to David with signs detailing their relationship, and offering words of love and encouragement to her on her way to her future husband. It was so sweet to see Hannah meet each person and family on her way, from her 7th grade teacher to her best friends, to people from our church who have watched her blossom into a beautiful, servant-hearted young woman. At the end of that path was David, waiting to ask her to be his forever, to which she emphatically said yes! After David and Hannah spent sometime showing off the bling and chatting with all of the friends and family who had gathered, the three of us headed out into the farm and snapped a few engagement photos in the pumpkin patch and sunflower field at Grim’s Orchard. How cute are these two?
