Ryan & Caitlin | DoubleTree Reading Wedding
I’m not sure there’s any way to describe Caitlin & Ryan’s wedding this weekend other than stunning. With a ceremony at Stokesay Castle and a reception at the DoubleTree Reading, their day was picture perfect, despite a few raindrops.
We anxiously watched the weather forecast all week, with eyes on what was looking to be a gloomy weekend. I had texted Caitlin earlier in the week and she was, as always, calm, cool, and collected, and didn’t seem worried a bit about the weather. After we almost got rained out for their sunrise engagement shoot in downtown Bethlehem, I shouldn’t have been surprised by Caitlin’s laid-back attitude. But if anyone could handle a little rain on their wedding day, it was Caitlin and Ryan….I think they were just so excited to be marrying one another that nothing else really mattered!
When we arrived at the DoubleTree, we found Caitlin and her girls mid-hair and makeup, with some soft candles, good music, and lots of yummy food surrounding them. The guys’ room was significantly quieter, but had the same air of expectation. The day went exactly as planned, albeit a few misty sprinkles during their outdoor ceremony at Stokesay Castle, and the bride and groom partied late into the evening back at the DoubleTree surrounded by their family and friends. It was a beautiful wedding!
I had asked Caitlin and Ryan to tell me a little bit about their anticipation for their wedding day and marriage…here’s what they had to say!
On what he loves about his new wife: I love the type of person she is and how much she love me, our family, and our friends. She so caring and brings humor to everyday. We both try to see the humor in everything.
On what he was looking forward to about his wedding day: Having fun! I’m excited to celebrate our marriage with all of our family and friends.
On what he was looking forward to about married life: Being a family and starting a family.
On what she loves about her new husband: He’s a stud! But more than that he is sweet, polite, and caring. He can always make me laugh right when I need it the most. He is a gentleman in every sense of the word, I’m so lucky to have found him.
On what she was looking forward to about her wedding day: Being married to my best friend and celebrating that with all of our very favorite people in the world!
On what she was looking forward to about married life: I don’t really think much will change from right now, but I look forward to making it official and being a Hills. Also, having kids with this man will be the adventure of a lifetime!
Aren’t these two the sweetest? Congrats, Caitlin and Ryan! Best wishes for a happy marriage!! (and you better call us to photograph those cute little future Hills kids someday!)
