Braeden & Kara | The Historic Round Barn Wedding
I’m so excited to share Braeden & Kara’s wedding day today! AJ and I had a blast partying with these two and their guests (and the party only got better once they broke out the glowsticks!) and we loved every second of their perfect, personal wedding day at The Historic Round Barn in Biglerville, PA.
Here’s Braeden & Kara’s love story in their own words:
We met at a ultimate frisbee dance party at Dickinson during our sophomore year in 2009, but later on during our junior year, Braeden thought something was up when Kara “allegedly” played footsies with him in his apartment in Bremen, Germany. Kara denies this happened.
…fast forward to their engagement…
We were on a road trip of the South and driving through Georgia. We stopped in Eastman so that I could get a picture under the “Eastman City Limits” sign, and as Kara was turning to head back to the car, I stopped her, told her some things that I can’t remember, and said, “I don’t want to force you to take the name, but will you spend the rest of your life with me?” She said with hands over mouth, “Of course I’ll f*!$ing marry you!”
These two seriously have a love story that has traveled the globe, and we loved all the little details of their day that reflected their adventures, like their Lithuanian wedding cake! We also loved what Kara and Braeden had to say about each other. When asked what he loved about Kara and what he was most looking forward to about the wedding and beyond, Braeden answered:
I love her quiet wit and strong independence.
Not having to use the word fiancee anymore!
And when we asked Kara the same questions, she answered:
His sense of humor and his charm, and he’s good at talking to people so I don’t have to.
Spending the rest of my life with this goofball and learning more about sports than I ever wanted.
Enjoy this peek into Braeden & Kara’s wedding day!
