Jon & Susan | Pagoda Engagement
I met up with Jon and Susan last week at the Pagoda. The Pagoda has a special place in my heart, not only because my parents live just a few minutes from it and it’s a Reading icon, but because I’ve had the pleasure of doing a few other shoots there and it’s just such a great location!
When Susan told me they’d like to bring their pup, I immediately said yes…and apparently it was the weekend for dogs, since Kristie and Todd also featured their furry family member in their wedding! Susan & Jon’s dog, Jake, is a big teddy bear. He’s so sweet and definitely loves his mom & dad! We got a few shots in with him at the Pagoda, and then headed over to the Fire Tower!
I asked Jon & Susan to tell me their engagement story, and Susan said:
Jon went out and picked out the ring all by himself…and yes, he was very nervous proposing to me…and no, he didn’t get down on one knee!
This couple loves spending time together by going to auctions and looking for vintage items that they can fix up like furniture, and also spending time with their kids. We can’t wait to celebrate these two at their wedding in September! Congrats Susan & Jon!
