A Look Back at 2017…
It is crazy that 2017 is already at an end! As we take a look back at 2017, one thing is evident: this year has been the hardest we’ve ever faced personally. We had a lot of moments of joy and some of the greatest heartache we’ve experienced. We lost Betsy’s dad in August just a day before we celebrated two years of marriage, and the fall and the holidays just weren’t the same this year. As our family has gotten back on our feet, we’ve reflected on the moments that have brought us joy in the midst of our grief.
So many of those moments can be attributed to our clients. Getting to partake in the joy of a wedding day, or celebrate the love between young family members, or the giddy excitement of an engagement session has been one of the great honors of this year. When we look back on the past year, it really is amazing to see God’s goodness in the life of this business and in our lives, personally. Even in the hardship and mourning, we know that He reigns and He is in control. And we are so grateful that He has led us into the lives of each of the couples and families that we got to work with this year!
While one of our 2018 goals is to catch up on our blogging game and spend some time showcasing our 2017 weddings and sessions, we leave you today with this quick recap of 2017…thank you for being a part of it!
